Sony's T900 is a real boon for those who like the convenience of compact cameras but who dislike the small controls and poor LCD screens commonly seen on such cameras. The back of the camera is dominated by a huge 3.5 inch touch-screen which is used not only for composition and viewing of photos and video, but also displays menus and controls in an easy to understand and even easier to operate format. The T900 is capable of 12.1 megapixel resolution and utilises the BIONZ image processor, which reduces image noise and responds quickly, so you never miss the action. A 4x Zeiss zoom lens and a host of other automated functions make taking clear photographs a breeze. Video can also be recorded in a HD format, at up to 30 frames per second, complete with stereo sound.
